This Florentine Cutaway, Orchestra Model guitar features a Western Red Cedar top, Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides, Macassar Ebony fretboard and bridge, Port Orford Cedar neck, Gotoh 510 mini tuners in gold, and EVO gold fretwire, with an Ebony saddle and an Ebony nut with the end grain oriented up.
“Perfectly balanced with a very clear, articulate attack across the entire fingerboard. Overall, the instrument is exceptionally lightweight, especially at the neck end, owing in large part to the Port Orford Cedar neck. The neck stability is also exceptional because it has extra reinforcement in the form of Carbon fiber rods on the sides of the Truss rod.
This guitar has followed me to guitar shows and has been a favorite amongst the players at these shows for years. I never sold it despite the offers I received because I always wanted to have it for show purposes. Eventually, however, there comes a time to release your babies into the wild.”

This Size 1 Parlor has 13 frets to the body, which gives unique access to the upper frets without a cutaway being necessary. It features a Western Red Cedar top, East Indian Rosewood back and sides, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, Gotoh 510 mini tuners in Cosmo Black, and EVO Gold fretwire.
“Articulate and punchy, yet expressive at the same time, this Parlor is an absolute joy to behold. I’ve spent the last year and a half, since I added the Size 1 to my catalog, trying to convince people of the sheer pleasure of smaller bodied instruments like this. And guitars like Guitar #87 have made this an easy case to make.”
#86 ESG3.1.2023 – AVAILABLE

This unique instrument is a Size 1 Parlor with 13 Frets to the body.
It features a figured Western Red Cedar top, Wenge all over! (Back, sides, Fretboard, bridge, headplate), Honduran Mahogany neck, Steinberger Gearless Tuners, and evo gold fretwire.
“This is remarkably rich in overtones for a guitar that is so small that it can almost be mistaken for a baritone ukulele! This is the kind of instrument that will follow you from room to room in the house, and not just because of it’s ergonomic nature and portable size; But because you can fall in love with the bark of this feisty little guitar when you play it aggressively, and the subtle nature of it when you play it softly.”
